Check out all the detailed pictures of this Pines Winterfront Automatic Radiator Shutter. It is in very nice shape as pictured. When operated by hand, shutters open and close nicely with a strong spring. I have not tested the thermostat. The 4th shutter slat has a minor bend (shown in the last picture) that does not affect how the shutters open and close. It looks like it would be fairly easy to bend back into shape. The bend is not very noticeable at first glance.
