This 1/24 scale Mercedes-Benz made by the Strombecker corporation in 1959, is in really nice shape, looks like somebody started it probably in 1959 or 60 and never finished it. It has a lot of extra parts that are not for this car. This originally was a battery operated car that could be converted over to electric slot car racing, it will need to be finished, but it comes with the original box and all the extra parts shown. This will make a nice addition to your collection or you can build it and then race it or a gift for that special someone who would like to put a car back together.. Also I would like to mention that all the original parts are not there. Looks like some of the original parts are missing. It has a lot of parts with it, but some of the original parts are missing..

The plastic parts are sealed. The chrome is very nice and shiny and any discoloration in the pictures is caused by reflections. Most parts have been wrapped in plastic to preserve the condition. The decal protector has yellowed, but the decals themselves are very nice. The box has some wear and tear (see pictures) but is overall in presentable condition. Box has noticeable shelf wear, creasing, staining and corner dings from storage. Item: 1974 Ford Pinto customizing plastic model car kit, allowing you to build one of three versions (stock, street, or rally style) as depicted on the box art. Scale: 1/25 scale model kit. Model/Style code printed on box end: 1-7412-250; Made and Litho in U. Kit contents include a painted bronze Pinto body shell plus various white and chrome plastic parts on and off sprues, loose tires, clear pieces, decal sheets, and other small components as shown in photos. Decal sheets feature Ford and “Hot-Shot Six” graphics along with racing sponsor logos such as Crane Cams, Cragar, FRAM, Edelbrock, Goodyear, MPC, and Valvoline, and show visible age toning. This is a Vintage Lot of HO Scale Model Train Cars, Tracks, Crossing Gate, Plus Extra Parts. Some of the Items in this Lot are. (A) ATHEARN TRAINS IN MINIATURE = There are Eight (8) Cars inside the Box, but they ALL need work on them, this is still in its Original Box (See Photos). With the Original 1959 – 1960 Brochure. (B) ATHEARN DUAL OPERATING CROSSING GATE (#3150-1:98) = This is Missing Some Parts and is also still in its Original Box (See Photos). (C) SAKAI ELECTRIC SWITCH “HO” GAUGE (#0578/076) = This is still in its Original Box (See Photos). (D) PIECES OF TRACKS = See Photos. (E) THREE METAL REMOTE CONTROL CASES & EXTRA WIRING = On of these cases is Very Rusty in the Inside. Not sure if this Wiring goes with any of these, but it was all together when we found it, so you will receive it also. (F) TWELVE PACKS OF ASSORTED TRAIN PARTS = Some Packs Were Never Opened. This is a Cox 1/24th Cheetah Slot Car with a Sidewinder Chassis, Body, and Parts from the 1960’s. The Cheetah does not run. Looks like it has the wrong motor. I think it should be chrome. The plastic parts are sealed. The chrome is very nice and shiny and any discoloration in the pictures is caused by reflections. Most parts have been wrapped in plastic to preserve the condition. The decal protector has yellowed, but the decals themselves are very nice. The box has some wear and tear (see pictures) but is overall in presentable condition. Original and Rare Mugen Bulldog Vintage RC Car andParts. Mugen Bulldog’s were a popular 1/10th scale 4wd rc car and dominated racing for an extended period in the 80’s and 90’s. These are now a rare and valued item for nostalgic and vintage racers. Difficult to find in any condition let alone one as pristine and in as original condition as this with genuine and original spare parts. Background: I’ve had this as far back as I can remember after receiving it as a child, it’s sat in storage for the last 20+ years and amazingly it still runs and drives fine. It’s never been abused, raced and has many original spare parts, original remote and chargers. I’d love for this to go to an RC car enthusiast that will treat it well and restore it to its former glory. Original car in great condition that runs and drives fantastic. Never been abused, raced and is a single owner car stored for the past 30 years. Many spare parts some new and all original. Graphics included from original box it came in. Original remote and chargers. On the List to chase up. Missing one aluminium sway bar bracket and wires (could copy and laser cut other one). Original remote not working – needs Ni-Cad batteries removed and replaced. Cage and rear right steering arm have been repaired/glued.
