I grew up in Ontario, CA and I’ve been messing around with RC cars since I was 10 years old, now I’m 43 years old. I started with the Team Associated RC10. In about 1989, I got my first Losi JRX2 at Ranch Pit shop in Pomona, CA. I loved racing there in the late 80’s to early 90’s. So, about 10 years ago, I wanted to relive my childhood years and bought a Losi XXX-T MF2 and a XXX-T CR. This is that project… A MF2 with the drivetrain of a CR. If you know what you’re looking at, you’ll know there’s way over a thousand dollars into this. The controller is an Airtronics MX3X and the servo is an Airtronics 94357 ball bearing metal high torque servo. Losi spent many years as IFMAR and ROAR champs back in the days with this line of stadium trucks. The speed controller and motor in this are both rebranded Castle. This RC car is ready to go and amazing!!! If you’re looking for a cheap, junky Chinese toy car, don’t look at this. American made with standard screws, not metric. This thing is FAST! See it running on YouTube… The charger is an Onyx 235 and there are 3 lipo batteries new and close to new. One battery is Nimh.
