Vintage Tamiya Avante 1988 Version (Kit# 58072) Restored to New

This is your chance to own an original release Tamiya Radio Control classic! In March 1988, Tamiya released the 4WD R/C racing buggy called the “Avante” and it has since become a special machine in Tamiyas R/C history. The car features a unique shaft-driven 4WD system which was taken from Tamiyas first 4WD R/C buggy, the Hotshot. It also features highly sophisticated designs like a double-deck chassis layout, longitudinal motor & battery placement, and cam-lock wheel caps. The front and rear differentials use an innovative compact gearbox comprised of small planetary gears while the center differential features a ball differential. And the suspension is fully adjustable for increase stability. What you see in the photos is what you get, plus a brand new Tamiya TBLE-02S Electronic Speed Control. Full Time Shaft-Driven 4WD. Ball Bearings used at all friction points. Front and Rear Differentials: Planetary gears. Center Differential: Ball differential. Double-decker chassis for stiffness. Longitudinally placed motor and battery. New Avante 2011 Special Motor, GT Tuned (25T) with detachable chip capacitors. New Tamiya TBLE-02S Electronic Speed Control (ESC) For brushed or brushless motors! Upgrade your brushed motor to brushless without changing the ESC! Includes new wheels with new tires and new cam locks. Includes a second set of new silver wheels with new tires for showing. Includes new and used parts; too many parts to list. Includes original instruction manual. 2-channel radio, servo, 7.2 volt battery & compatible battery charger. Does not include original box. Some 2011 Avante parts were used for restoration. The lower chassis is new, however one or two of the screws on the underside of the car may have scratches. Please check the photos and the description carefully. Kyosho Blizzard Electric Version Vintage Kyosho Rc

Kyosho blizzard is untested but looks complete. The body on this is dusty and needs cleaned up but looks like it would clean up pretty nice. The blizzard internals look barley used. One of speed controls needs a bolt replaced as it is missing and speed control is loose… Overall this sure looks to be a great candidate for a restore or runner… Feel free to ask any questions you may have.
