Nice first edition Tamiya Clodbuster This is a first edition 1987 Tamiya Clodbuster Chassis. Has “Made in Japan” markings. Chassis was stripped, cleaned, and rebuilt using full bearings. Red parts are nice. No real scuffs or damage to guards, chassis links, etc. Axles and Differentials are also near mint. Chassis is in excellent condition. Chassis upgrades include new aluminum body shocks. Brand new Body is a new Super Clodbuster. It is brand new and never used. Upgrades include custom front bumper mount (front bumper comes off with the body), new bumpers, new aluminum roll bar, new aftermarket motor and blower nice detail! Tailgate has a carbon fiber wrap for a custom touch. I sprayed 4 coats of Duplicolor metallic red and blue over a chrome base. I then sprayed about 20 coats of DC enamel clear to set the Clod decals under the clear. There are a few wet sand boo-boos but overall the body paint is very nice and the decals are set into the clear. This body should not scratch or chip and the decals cannot come off. I did lose 1 headlight lens. The bed and underside are sprayed with real automotive bed liner. Windows are mint, no scratches. Wheels and tires are original vintage and are near mint. No spider cracks, nice wheels, good color. Comes with all electronics. They include New Spektrum SR310 3 channel receiver New Futaba S9405 coreless high torque servo New RC4WD “Outcry” 300 amp dual motor ESC with fan, turbo and BEC. Handles 4S LIPO and 12 cell Nicd. Vintage twin Kyosho “Mega Monster 360″ brushed motors. 22 turn high torque old school gems! One is reversed, one is forward. Barely used and in great operating and physical condition. Truck runs and drives nicely. Motors are fast and torqey. Everything operates as it should. This is a cool old clod with modern electrics and a new body. Add your radio and battery and you’re good to go! NOTE: I found and installed the missing headlight lens.
