For your consideration is a Vintage Team Associated RC12L Pan Car 1/12 Scale Excellent Condition. This the second of two Very cool Vintage Pan Cars I Acquired, the First is a RC10L ” Its listed in a separate listing ” this is the second one the RC12L They Both have a interesting history, I was told These cars were previously owned and Raced by A Graphic Designer that did all of the Artwork for all of the Team Associated RC Car Boxes Back in the Day. He Raced for Chan Racing and from what I was told they Represented Team Associated. So this car has seen the Track and has done very well in its time. I was told all of this, I cant verify it, but if its true its pretty cool. This Pan Car is in Excellent Vintage Condition, It has spent most of its life in a display Case, and Has not been used in a very long time!!! Looks to be all original as far as I can tell. The only defect I can see is a small chip on the tp where the wing support goes down, some light scratches on the bottom, some dust…. Both bodies show a little wear / signs of use / age. But both are still solid and have minimal Cracks or Breaks, the F-1 has NO Cracks, the larger one has a couple small cracks. Car has two Futaba FP-S20 Servos for steering and the Electronic throttle, It has a Futaba FP-R2GS Receiver, Lastly the Car has a ” Pretty Quick” Brushed Motor in it, it is not labeled besides that Written on the top with a pen and ” Japan ” on the top as well. The motor works, I could not get the other electronics to power on, I didn’t mess with it long. This car Comes Complete as pictured With the two very cool Bodies also Included. Car Itself Has NO Damage and Shows Minimal Signs of age / wear around. Does not have any broken parts. Underside of the Car has just light scratches / scuffs. This thing is in near Mint condition as you can see in the photos. The fiberglass or the material the chassis is made out of has some yellowing. I could not get the electronics to power up upon testing again. The motor Works, I didn’t mess with the other electronics for very long. The Tires Need replacing as the ones on it are cracked due from sitting for so many years. Also the front bearings appear to be missing.
