Description: This is believed to be a vintage manifold heater of some sort for 1920’s-30’s car or truck applications. This part is in fair structural condition with some dents and there is some rust damage that needs attention, mostly seen on the round metal housing, with an example seen in the final picture. This appears to connect somehow to the exhaust system with a mounting bolt spacing of 2-7/8 center to center on the flange. This is a heavy unit with the inner “blades” appearing to be made of a heavy gauge metal. It seems that the heat from the exhaust would heat the the water inside and force it through the discharge where the hose hooks up but has been cut-off. I see no markings or stamped anywhere on this part indicating a maker or intended application. This will make a great replacement for your badly damaged or missing part.
