Thorp Dirt Burners Tamiya Monster Beetle Blackfoot Ball Diff Transmission Setup. This listing is for an ultra rare vintage original Thorp Dirt Burners Tamiya Monster Beetle Blackfoot Ball Diff Transmission Setup. Instructional setup sheet will be included but not shown in the pictures. Unit was tuned and prepared for a vehicle and is brand spanking new unlike others who simply remove it from their beat-up vehicle where it’s smothered with grease & rust! The output shafts are for telescopic drive parts but the purchaser will have a choice to swap these out for the standard vintage hex drives (not suitable for re-release vehicles) or dog bone units (also requires Thorp #4510). This is the COMPLETE setup which includes the #4540 ball differential and #4520 counter gear, blue sealed ball bearings, etc! Just remove your old transmission and bolt this system down for absolute high-powered performance at its finest. You know these last a lot longer than anything else as they were all MADE IN USA! The set pictured is for use with the stock half-shafts only which is perfect for any stock setup! We have also included 2 Blue Sealed ball bearings as well! All of our Thorp Dirt Burners parts are brand new and never used as shown in the photos! These new ball diffs all come with an updated bulletproof Delrin profiled main diff gear as you can see from the pictures. The (#4506) original plastic nylon ones chip and break quite easily with todays high powered brushless motors. The set pictured is for use with the slotted shafts using dog-bones, but if you would like the set that uses the stock hex shafts or even the yoke-type (telescopic), just simply ask and we’ll replace it with those! We have also included 2 Blue Sealed ball bearings as well! LIMITED STOCK on hand! All of our Thorp Dirt Burners parts are brand new and never used as shown in the photos! Well this tis a cool replica of that & 2.4 REMOTE CONTROL.. Got it LOW in front as per cal-look……….. & see the popular chop top of that era……… EMPI GT 4 tip exhaust………… OLD skool head-lites & fluted lens…………. !! & if LOOK close……… Can see offset on deck lid………. I GREW UP IN THAT ERA…………… THE work on making this ready to run INCLUDES non 80’s parts. Upgraded to 2.4 radio & electronics…….. ALL electronics are NEW, with used racing MABUCHI RS-540SH brushed motor. Car has minimal suspension…….. BUT NO shocks used…….. Slight modifications of glue use & chassis holes drilled to make all electronics > work…. Body looks OEM & correct , chassis slightly altered by me to make this creation……………. Body uses 2 holes above t-bars in rear & slip connection up front…. OEM style 80’s…… & 1:12 is close to 1:10………… & has a diff. > not a live axle……….. This Novak 410-MXc was mounted on our demo stadium truck only for a limited time only. It was ran indoor and a few times on the off-road track only! Not much dirt or marks anywhere! The wires are soft and in super shape! Tested right before we took the photos and is working perfectly. Features: Re-charging of the drive battery during brake and partial throttle for up to 20% longer run times, increased motor commutator life, rugged MEGAFET transistor for lowest ON-resistance and highest performance, linear acceleration for ultra-smooth driving, BEC circuit (5.7Volt) to power radio system, fully adjustable current limiter (with accurate test point) to maximize run time and for off-road driving, to minimize tire slip, thermal shutdown to protect the ESCs electronics when dangerous overloads occur, 3 wire system for less resistance and weight, and MADE IN THE USA! This is the best high end heavy duty ESC back in the early 90s. Perfect fit for those collectors! This ESC can handle 6-10 Cells!
