This extremely rare vintage car record player was in my dads garage tool cabinet for at least the last 45 years. It was weathered but not too bad, so I cleaned it up as best I could and realized its in pretty good shape. The wires do not appear to be rotten and all solder terminations seem OK. I have no knowledge of how to test this ASSY so please pay attention to the photos as I tried to capture what I think are the key areas of interest. The spindle on which the 45 record mounts springs up and down and the (spring) tabs do lock the records in. It spins (I can feel the gears) so it is not frozen. There is no needle in the arm but it appears to have everything else. The two red switches are intact. The On/Offclicks and the Start/Reject springs back and forth. Hard to find this one.
