I’ve used resin a time or two- it’s all the same, tons of sanding and prepping/fitting, and make sure you prep correctly or paint will not last with time… Then use a messy hot glue gun to mount bumpers.. Vintage Russkit Lotus Slot Car With Extra Parts Wheels Motors Chassis Estate

Here we have a Vintage Russkit Lotus? Back rims chewed up. Put 9 volt battery to contacts and does work. Motor sounds good and strong. 1 extra motor with wires tried and also works. Other was not able to test as no wires. Extra parts as seen. I assume it is Russkit as a few pieces of the paperwork. Couple packages included are empty but parts may be there or on car. ONLY TESTED ON 9 VOLT BATTERY. As-is. Pictures show best description. Will pack well and insure.

1959 Lotus Elite, Falcon Caribbean English kit car project. Vintage race parts

This unique vehicle is a rare 1959 Falcon Caribbean project kit car. Less that 2000 of these were created, and only a handful exist in the U. This car came from Canada. These were most popular in the U. This project was set up for street and race track use and features a number of unusual vintage racing modifications. The body resembles the stylish lines of the early Lotus Elite. This fibreglass body has never been mounted, cut or drilled, and is essentially 1959 “brand new”. The chassis is an Austin 7 featuring Ballamy independent front racing suspension conversion, and lightweight Ballamy wheels with vintage Pirelli tyres. The engine is the English Ford 1172cc sidevalve (Ford 10), but it features the rare Elva head with I. (hi-po intake over exhaust valve) conversion, for additional power and is an amazing talking point. Elva dual carb intake. Aquaplane performance covers and accessories. Close ratio transmission gearing. Custom matched rear end gear ratio. Appear to be early mini seats. Will require assembly, fabrication and completion. Will require towing to transport. Once completed this can be a one of a kind vintage street legal sports racer like no other. Other interesting vintage automotive projects considered.
