The plastic parts are sealed. The chrome is very nice and shiny and any discoloration in the pictures is caused by reflections. Most parts have been wrapped in plastic to preserve the condition. The decal protector has yellowed, but the decals themselves are very nice. The box has some wear and tear (see pictures) but is overall in presentable condition. Box has noticeable shelf wear, creasing, staining and corner dings from storage. Item: 1974 Ford Pinto customizing plastic model car kit, allowing you to build one of three versions (stock, street, or rally style) as depicted on the box art. Scale: 1/25 scale model kit. Model/Style code printed on box end: 1-7412-250; Made and Litho in U. Kit contents include a painted bronze Pinto body shell plus various white and chrome plastic parts on and off sprues, loose tires, clear pieces, decal sheets, and other small components as shown in photos. Decal sheets feature Ford and “Hot-Shot Six” graphics along with racing sponsor logos such as Crane Cams, Cragar, FRAM, Edelbrock, Goodyear, MPC, and Valvoline, and show visible age toning. Some parts appear previously painted or detailed, indicating the kit has been started; overall parts completeness has not been verified and the kit is offered as-is for parts, restoration, or display. Original box features colorful 1974 Pinto artwork and notes that cement and paint are not included.
