Vintage A&L Pro Trailing Arm Conversion Associated RC10 Orig 6 gear only- read

This sale is for a new Pro trailing arm conversion for the RC10 series with a black anodized 6061 aluminum chassis. This kit is almost completely new-old-stock parts minus the chassis plate and shock tower. It is a complete conversion that requires a RC10 series car to complete. Note this is designed for flanged rear wheel bearings- 1/4 were used on these originally. We do not sell that bearing. This specific chassis is drilled for 6 gear transmission only (and MIP, etc that use stock bolt pattern). Pic shows a chassis drilled for both- this set will lack the stealth mounting holes. This kit comes with instructions, which are also available for download on our website. Please understand this was late 80s technology- you need to be at an intermediate skill level to install this set. We will release these one or two at a time, as they take a while to have the chassis laser cut, bent, and anodized. If you do not see one listed, we do not have any to sell currently. For ALL RC10 you will need to trim the rear bulkhead for clearance. Also depending on the front suspension arms you use there may be some slight trimming required. First two pics shows what is included. Last pics show this kit installed on a RC10. Once again- the VEHICLE IS NOT INCLUDED!!!! ONE OF A KIND CUSTOM PAINTED – METALLIC GREEN VATERRA 1967 MUSTANG – BODY ONLY. NOTE: I’VE CHANGED THE ITEM CONDITION FROM’NEW’ TO’USED’… ALTHOUGH IT DOESN’T REALLY MATTER, THE ONLY TIME THIS HAS BEEN OUTDOORS WAS TO TAKE THE PICS. THIS BODY IS PAINTED GREEN FROM BOTH THE INSIDE AND OUT. IT IS NEARLY A PERFECT MATCH FOR THE ANODIZED PAINT ON THE CASTLE MOTOR CANS… AND VATERRA GREEN ANODIZED ALUMINUM SHOCK CAPS. ALL SEAMS WERE GLUED TO THE BODY AND FILLED NUMEROUS TIMES, AND SANDED SMOOTH. NOTE: THERE IS ONE SEAM ON THE PASSENGER REAR WHERE THE SEAM ISN’T PERFECTLY SMOOTH… BUT THE LIGHT HAS TO HIT AT THE RIGHT (OR WRONG) ANGLE TO SEE IT. SEE PICS ON THIS. THE REAR BUMPER SECTION WAS GLUED TO THE BODY (w/2-part epoxy) THEN PAINTED & SANDED NUMEROUS TIMES. HIGH QUALITY, FLEXIBLE TAMIYA POLYCARBONATE RC PAINTS USED WERE. PS-17 METALLIC GREEN (FOR THE BODY). PS-55 FLAT CLEAR (FOR THE TOP FINISH COAT OVER THE PS-17). PS-63 BRIGHT GUNMETAL (FOR THE MIRRORS, BUMPERS AND TRIM). THE TRIM IS HAND PAINTED! THE BODY IS ALSO INTERNALLY LIT WITH 10 LEDs, SIX OF THEM JUST FOR THE TAIL LIGHTS (10 TOTAL). IT HAS A CUSTOM LOWER FRONT, STEEL MESH GRILLE INSERT AND CUSTOM STAINLESS STEEL TAILPIPES. ADDED LOTS OF PICS BELOW. Custom painted Masami tribute RC10 Protech body, wing with wire and mounts + 2.2 wheel disc decals, and a care package of extra body decals. This listing is for the body, wing with wing wire and wing button mounts. The buggy is not included. The body is a reproduction Penguin brand, and is slightly smaller then normal. The front body mount hole is set where the right side steering post is located. You can move the normal front post mount location to the steering location very easily. This helps even out the level seating with smaller or shorter bodies. The window nets are carefully painted from the inside, they are not decals. I paint bodies as a hobby but also to help pay bills and support my parents and my small decal printing business. If you can afford it, please help support me by supporting the hobby. All decals seen on my paint work are printed by me as well. The decals are waterproof vinyl and professional grade. A lot of time and tracing is involved to produce decal graphics properly.
