1959 Falcon Caribbean kit car barn find project. Vintage race / speed parts
This unique vehicle is a rare 1959 Falcon Caribbean. Less that 2000 of these were created, and only a handful exist. This project was set up for street and race track use and features a number of unusual and desired vintage racing modifications. The body resembles the handsome and stylish lines of the early Lotus Elite. This body has never been mounted, cut or drilled, or painted and is essentially 1959 “new”. The chassis is that of an Austin 7 featuring Ballamy independent front suspension conversion with transverse front leaf spring, and Ballamy wheels with vintage Pirelli tyres. The engine is the English Ford 1172cc sidevalve (Ford 10), but it features the rare Elva head with I. (hi-po intake over exhaust valve) conversion, for additional power and is an amazing point of discussion. Elva dual carb intake. Aquaplane performance covers and accessories. Close ratio transmission gearing. Custom matched rear end gear ratio. This car was built to be state of the art circa 1960. Will require some assembly, fabrication and completion. Will require towing to transport. Once completed this can be a one of a kind vintage street legal sports racer like no other. This car was imported into Canada, and features left hand drive, but can easily be changed over to RHD. Work on this car was performed from 1959 to 1961, at which point the project lay dormant, and has not been worked on since. It features true performance parts of the era. The car has been amazingly preserved for the last 60 years and has been indoors it’s entire life. This vehicle has zero kilometers on it, and is basically 1959 “new”. Vintage 80’s 1/12 Tamiya R/C Porsche 959 Partial Restore Project body decal part
Up for sale a use Vintage 80’s Collector items 1/12 Tamiya R/C Porsche 959 Kit 5859 partial restore project, it come with a TBG reproduction clear lexan body, a use original body with some crack on the left rear bumper, some painted inside, new decal sticker, a crack on the right interior seat piece, a new part H tree, chrome headlight tree, clear headlight lens, Tamiya light kit, some screws, a MRC parts breakdown manual, chassis have some run time, some scratches under the chassis, tires in great condition, some minor scratches on 2 wheels, no crack on any control arm, it have hitec steering servo, manual speed control, Tamiya RX-540VZ Motor. It was tested and speed control, motor spin fine. You will need transmitter, speed control servo with control rod and replace the speed control heat resonator. Over all in great condition and you just need finished the body and it will be a nice collection. Please refer to all picture for reference, let me know if any question. Vintage Tamiya bullhead Clodbuster easy project
Vintage Tamiya bullhead project. I did test it with one and the truck does work. The chassis is in real nice shape for the year. The body has no cracks but a bad paint job that you tell and back the body is warped for the heat sink. When i did run the truck for a minute it got hot?? Again body is usable far from perfect. Again easy project ask questions and i will try to answer them. I’m not a pro with the vintage rc stuff. Looks like its missing a cover for the battery area.
