One of the, if not the first CD player to be put in cars in the 1980’s. No further testing has been done. Includes items in pictures only. Vintage KYOSHO OPTIMA MID 4WD RC buggy car. Sold as-is for repair or parts

Vintage KYOSHO OPTIMA MID 4WD RC buggy car. This assembled RC car is in used, fair condition. Does not come with the control unit, receiver or servos. I assembled the kit in the mid-1980s back when I was a teenager. I could never get it to operate correctly due to the intricate design of Kyosho kit cars… I had much better luck with the Tamiya Super Shot (see my other listing). Perhaps it was too much car for a dumb teenager LOL. I enjoyed the hobby but soon lost interest. I held onto it (and a couple other RC cars) all these years with the intent of doing a rebuild/restoration but now as a family man of three young girls, it’s time to let it go :. It’s pretty dusty from being stored 30+ years. The chassis is complete. Now that I look at it, I could’ve done a much better job assembling and maintaining it but this was an expensive hobby for a teenager. The knobby tires are the originals. There is a motor installed (not sure what type). There are few parts missing including the front bumper and a few fasteners. The rear wing is broken off on the right side. What you see is what you get. Lots of valuable parts on here. I hope that someone with the time and passion can get this classic buggy going again. Vintage Aurora HO Scale Slot Cars /LARGE parts LOT, sold for parts, estate sal

I believe they are mostly aurora ,, but take a look. I know tyco and other companies made these HO slot cars. This is a rather large lot. Comes in 4 boxes ,,3 old cigar boxes and plastic box. See photos (see second photo for exact lot and items). This would definitely be worth it to a collector , of such items. There is quite a lot here. A few of the cars may be complete but some may need parts. There are also a lot of parts here ,, to build with. For parts , but I suspect most of the motors are probably good. And there are lot of parts to use and build. I suspect there are going to be a lot of interest in this lot.
