Thorp Dirt Burners #4581 Optional Ball Differential for Tamiya 1/10 FOX 2WD Buggy. This listing is for an ultra rare vintage Thorp Dirt Burners #4581 Optional Ball Differential for Tamiya 1/10 FOX 2WD Buggy! The set pictured is for use with the optional slotted axles for Thorp’s very own dog-bone drive shafts only! But if you would like the set that uses the standard hex drive shafts, just simply ask and we’ll replace it with those! We will be including a pair of blue sealed ball bearings as well! All of our Thorp Dirt Burners parts are brand new and never used as shown in the photos! These new ball diffs all come with an updated bulletproof Delrin profiled main diff gear as you can see from the pictures. The (#4506) original plastic nylon ones chip and break quite easily with todays high powered brushless motors. The outdrives-universals are also now made of stronger stainless steel which is similar to Tamiyas of today. Replace your old stripped & worn out internal differential with this high performance optional part from THORP Mfg! You know these last a lot longer than anything else as they were all MADE IN USA! This listing is for an ultra rare vintage Thorp Dirt Burners #4960 Tamiya King Cab/HiLux Monster Racer/Astute Complete 32-Pitch Transmission with Full Ball Differential Kit installed! Includes main #4960 ball differential, #4930 steel + delrin center gear, and #4920 OD-Overdrive counter gear. Original user’s guide installation-parts sheet will be included but left out in these pictures. Comes preinstalled with full ball Tamiya Sealed blue bearings. All of the Thorp Dirt Burners parts are brand new and never used as shown in the photos! The gear case, gear support brace/bracket, and gear case bottom cap (has fractures from overtightening back in the days) are used and are perfectly great for spares! Accept for testing it as I added an options I never ran truck. This is a tremendous truck with the following upgrades. Tamiya New Sports Tuned Motor 23 Turn. CRP Red Battery Door Stopper. CRP Front & Rear Shock Towers. JG MFG Front Bumper & Shock Mount Support. JG MFG Rear Body Mount. Thorp Rear Axle Hub. Thorp Rear Axles & Out Drives. Are Imex but they are an upgrade. Most of my vehicles have been in storage for over 20 years, they have all been tested and I try my best to give an accurate description of how they are running. Please break them in slowly, cleaning & lubrication are a must and light run-in time is recommended.
