Lot of Vintage Lionel Train Cars, Track, Accessories and Parts From the 1950’s
I picked up some trains from a guy who was moving out of the area. He said they are from the 50’s and had been in his garage for a while. This is a mixed lot. They are all dirty and need to be cleaned, some have rust spots and scratches, others might be broken or missing parts. The first picture is an overview of the cars and accessories, and then some close ups to give a better idea of what’s there and I did the same with the pictures of the track. As a note: the track in the right hand row is not marked Lionel and is not as heavy duty as the Lionel track. The Lionel track has 31 curved, 31 straight and 11 smaller sections. The non Lionel has 20 curved, 19 straight sections and there are 5 (front 2 spots in the right hand row) with plastic ties. I have no way to check any of these under power. I will do my best to describe my personal collection of Aurora AFX cars and parts. I had these when I was a kid and they have been played with but not used since the early 1980’s. Vintage Aurora slot car set cars, track, controllers, parts etc afx
Offered is a vintage Aurora slot car set from an estate. They are from an attic and I think it is an old original set from some ones young years. There are many parts and pieces here, the cardboard boxes are stuffed with various track pieces, guard rails, fence, posts, pins, cars etc. I did a count and see approx. 59 various pieces of track; 2- Cross over straight tracks, 1- wavy track, 2- wire connector tracks, 3 short straight tracks, 6- hump tracks (straight), 19- straight approx. 9, 12- long curves, 12 short curves, 2 medium curves, a box of pins and tab pieces, guard rails posts, fence etc, transformer w 4 controllers, and a box of cars, bodys, and parts and piecees as shown. A few cars have detached roofs but I some some body parts so they may be repairable. Others cars are just the bodys but there are some bases etc. Please ask for a calculation of the cost. The power supplies and controllers work, the 4 intact cars work, however these are all old items that should be cleaned, lubricated, and fresh soft tires before using. All track in good condition, some have oxidation and minor rust, all tabs intact. 14 pieces Revell 14 radius curve track, and 1 box. 28 pieces Revell straight track and 1 box. Revell Spin-out Aprons for 14 radius track. 6 pieces with intact rails. 9 pieces with broken rails. 6 pairs/12 pieces, new in bags and box. 4 left ends, 5 right ends w/intact rails. 3 left ends, 1 right end, with broken rails. Lot of pylons and bases. 2 Revell 12V 1.5A power pack and track connector, 1 in box. 2 BZ controllers wired to track connectors. 1 Cox controller bare wires. 4 complete cars frame, body, motor, 4 wheels/tires, brushes. 1 cooper ford box. 1 clear display case. Vintage Aurora, AFX slot car group cars, track, parts
This a mostly excellent condition, vintage, Aurora slot car and accessories group. Many of the cars are close to new looking None of the cars are cut or broken besides the 2 AFX cars in the back of the yellow pit kit. There is a cracked screw post here and there. Chassis are in mint condition and are complete- many look nos. Only one of the hop up kits is complete. There are 38 12″ curves and 8, 15″ curves total. There are 3 different sets. The older set with the Cheetah and Alfa Romeo is like new, even the box is excellent. The 2nd Aurora set is the rare set with only 12 curves-24 total in the set. The box is shot but the insert in decent. Red dragster, new on card. Lots of parts as well. The AFX set is in nice condition. The 2 AFX cars in the back of the yellow case are not perfect. Included in this listing are nine pieces of Bachmann track with an inside measurement of about 9 inches, A Bachmann. Model number 6607 transformer and piece of Bachmann. Track that connects to the transformer.
