Vtg A&L Pre Assembled Lethal Weapon Transmission Kit with Power Clutch for RC10

This sale is for a new Lethal Weapon Transmission kit for the RC10 and RC10T. The differential has been updated and uses many off the shelf components now. This kit comes COMPLETE and assembled with a lightweight aluminum differential. Great for stock racing. We do not recommend this for hot brushless motors. The outdrives will wear faster than steel but are considerably less rotating mass. This kit comes WITH a power clutch. This is a vintage transmission, it was never meant for brushless power. It would handle a hot modified without problem but if you are going to run a modern motor just understand it was developed in the early 90’s. I have received a lot of questions regarding the age of the parts in my listings. Most of the key components are new-old-stock (leftover stock). Some of the components are newly made, for example most of my shock towers, all of my chassis plates, bearings, and hardware (nuts and bolts) are new/modern stock. Thorp Dirt Burners Tamiya Monster Beetle Blackfoot Ball Diff Transmission Setup. This listing is for an ultra rare vintage original Thorp Dirt Burners Tamiya Monster Beetle Blackfoot Ball Diff Transmission Setup. Instructional setup sheet will be included but not shown in the pictures. Unit was tuned and prepared for a vehicle and is brand spanking new unlike others who simply remove it from their beat-up vehicle where it’s smothered with grease & rust! The output shafts are for telescopic drive parts but the purchaser will have a choice to swap these out for the standard vintage hex drives (not suitable for re-release vehicles) or dog bone units (also requires Thorp #4510). This is the COMPLETE setup which includes the #4540 ball differential and #4520 counter gear, blue sealed ball bearings, etc! Just remove your old transmission and bolt this system down for absolute high-powered performance at its finest. You know these last a lot longer than anything else as they were all MADE IN USA! Tamiya Bruiser Mountaineer Vintage Rolling Chassis Axles Transmission Motor

Tamiya Bruiser Mountaineer Vintage Rolling Chassis Axles Transmission Motor. This is a vintage Tamiya Bruiser/Mountaineer rolling chassis. This includes a Tamiya Bruiser steel chassis, front & rear axles, three speed transmission with motor, front and rear drive shafts, transmission shift rod linkage, front steering linkage, radius arms, leaf spring suspension with shocks, U-Bolts, and a full set of tires and wheels. Everything is from a vintage Tamiya Bruiser, model number 58048, production years 1985 to 1992. This would be great as a basis for a custom crawler project or a restoration project. All that’s needed to get this running is electronics. A 3-channel receiver/transmitter with a 3-position third channel would be required to shift the transmission. Visual inspection suggests this is in very good condition. This was tested with modern electronics and the transmission and axle gears appear to be functional but they have not been disassembled for thorough inspection. We have found no obvious evidence these parts wont function as expected, but we cant guarantee absolute running condition as delivered or that parts might not become damaged after being used as a functional RC vehicle. This is a vintage item and should be considered a restoration project, additional work might be required to reach perfect running condition, and further maintenance might be required to continue use. This sale is for a new Lethal Weapon Transmission kit for the Tamiya Kingcab and Hilux series. Also includes plate for mounting on the Astute. This kit is almost completely new-old-stock minus the modern Avid bearings and screws. This kit includes the A&L outdrives. It is a complete set. This does require cutting the stock chassis, and I t comes with a template and instructions, which are also available for download on my website at factoryworks. The lower rear chassis plate is included to replace the stock piece. This is a vintage transmission, it was never meant for brushless power. It would handle a hot modified without problem but if you are going to run a modern motor just understand it was developed in the early 90’s.
