For sale is a fantastic old, all metal race car made by Buffalo Toy & Tool Works, of Buffalo N. This 12 cylinder giant measures in at almost 21 inches long! I don’t know exactly what year this car dates to, but the patent stamped in the bottom see pics it has unique wind up mechanism. The wood ball at the rear of the car is attached to a spiral rod / wire. You pull that back and release it to make the wheels turn. The mechanism works good- the wheels and wind up motor roar when pulled. Might need to be cleaned you need to give it a little push to get it to move The car moves slowly on the hardwood floors, as the wheels spin so fast. It might work better on pavement, bit I’m not going to suggest it. The condition of this car is good played with condition for its age.
