Original 1930's 1940's Car Truck Under Dash Heater Vent Deflector Assembly Part
Description: This is an original under-dash heater vent or deflector for various 1930’s-40’s car or truck applications. This assembly is in good structural condition with no cracks or breaks to the cast aluminum body and parts. This has two cables that control the inner valve, diverting the flow of air to one side or the other. There are two openings for hoses that likely force the air to the windshield deflectors. There are no knobs or dials to control the cables but they do move manually. The bottom vent has knobs to open and close manually for heat under the dash. The main tube on the back of the assembly measures 2-7/8 in overall diameter. Do not miss out on this hard to find part to set your car or truck apart from others at the car shows and cruises. Various 1930’s-40’s Passenger Car. Description: This is an original right/passenger side accessory rear fender skirt for various 1930’s-40’s passenger car applications. This fender skirt is in fair condition but will need some work. The paint does not appear original and there is some paint loss, in the form of scratches and scuffs on the surface. This has caused some lite surface rust but no rust holes or soft spots. This panel appears to be free from any unintended bends, twisting, or warping. The final picture shows the bottom lip which appears to have been cut on an angle at the rear of the panel but not sure if that is on-purpose, by design. The panel measures 38-1/12″ at it’s longest point, about 2 inches above the lower edge and measures 17-5/8″ in overall height. It will clean up nicely to prep for new paint and installation.
