Tamiya Vintage Blackfoot (Beetle Foot) Monster Truck (RTR)

Tamiya Vintage Blackfoot (Beetle-Foot) Monster Truck. This truck started life as an ORIGINAL Tamiya Blackfoot. Needing to be updated or used for parts, I opted for an update. In stead of being original and without a Blackfoot body, I wanted something not everyone has, a BEETLE-FOOT. New Monster Beetle tires and Lexan Body with custom 2 tone paint set off this truck as a clean, one-of-a-kind workhorse. Installed is a 4 channel, 2.4 Ghz controller with digital readout with over 25 different settings and/or adjustments, and can be used to control other vehicles with just an additional receiver. (Meaning this unit will not run hot even with hotter motors installed) Steering is controlled with a 20kg all metal servo to move the big tires quickly, easily and smoothly. (The steering is set up at 40% left and right respectfully meaning the need for bump stops isn’t necessary) All wiring has been installed for an extremely clean and professional look, and all components are water resistant. Additional braces have been installed to control the steering hop when making full speed turns. OFF-ROAD lights have been fitted to the front of the truck with a custom light-bar, and they work too. Tamiya updated oil filled shocks help soften the ride and provide much better performance than the original spring only stock shocks. The chassis has been completely lubed and metal bearings have been installed. To round out this package, a brand new Original Tamiya STOCK silver can 540 motor with new pinion gear have been utilized to keep things fun but under control. Shell and chasis have scuff marks due to wear but other than that, it looks physically intact. Body has not been cleaned, dusty due to storage. Vintage 1986 RC Car Tamiya Black Foot (Original) not release

Original 1986 like new, Black Foot by Tamiya. It was all in the box and had not been started, unfortunately the box was pretty much wasted from what looked like water or moisture damage and weathering from sitting around for all these years in the storage locker, so sorry no box. The kit was all there and ready to be assembled! I built the kit and put her on display in my collection, Never been operated! I left the body unpainted being it is black already and will never have to worry about paint being chipped or scratch ever, plus it just looks nicer /cleaner in my opinion. Every component other than a servo to operate the mechanical speed controller and a receiver has been installed. If you wish to finish and make it operational you will need batteries, charger, TX/RX and a servo for the mechanical speed control. I have included the original manual and the pieces (last photo) needed to install the servo for the speed control. I did not install the plastic roof piece, left it open like a sun roof, but did include (last photo) for you.
