Tamiya Vintage Blackfoot (Beetle-Foot) Monster Truck. This truck started life as an ORIGINAL Tamiya Blackfoot. Needing to be updated or used for parts, I opted for an update. In stead of being original and without a Blackfoot body, I wanted something not everyone has, a BEETLE-FOOT. New Monster Beetle tires and Lexan Body with custom 2 tone paint set off this truck as a clean, one-of-a-kind workhorse. Installed is a 4 channel, 2.4 Ghz controller with digital readout with over 25 different settings and/or adjustments, and can be used to control other vehicles with just an additional receiver. (Meaning this unit will not run hot even with hotter motors installed) Steering is controlled with a 20kg all metal servo to move the big tires quickly, easily and smoothly. (The steering is set up at 40% left and right respectfully meaning the need for bump stops isn’t necessary) All wiring has been installed for an extremely clean and professional look, and all components are water resistant. Additional braces have been installed to control the steering hop when making full speed turns. OFF-ROAD lights have been fitted to the front of the truck with a custom light-bar, and they work too. Tamiya updated oil filled shocks help soften the ride and provide much better performance than the original spring only stock shocks. The chassis has been completely lubed and metal bearings have been installed. To round out this package, a brand new Original Tamiya STOCK silver can 540 motor with new pinion gear have been utilized to keep things fun but under control.
