Vintage Team Associated RC10 Buggy and Parts
I powered up the complete car and it does run and drive. Comes with a beat up body not in the pics. It’s a little jittery and everything needs to be adjusted. This was my basher which is why it has so many pink parts and the home-made skidplate on the rear shock tower. When I was a kid I thought it would be cool to dye some of the parts pink. It does have some good parts and upgrades like a carbon tranny brace and MIP steering w/ball bearings. ESC is a Novak Explorer Sport. Motor is a Trinity Green Machine. Transmitter is a Futaba 2PBKA. The buggy and all the spare parts feature full ball bearings. There are enough parts here that you could put together TWO rolling cars. You’ll have to add a couple nose plates and probably some other small bits. I found an extra rear bulkhead after I took the pics, so there are now 2 spares in the loose parts. The spare gold chassis doesn’t have holes for a Stealth transmission. There are a lot of tires. Some are practically new, others are well worn. There are several shocks including some original gold ones and some grey. Also enclosed are a bunch of random shocks. I know the white ones are from a Traxxas Sledgehammer. I don’t know about the rest. The spare Stealth transmission was rebuilt years ago and hasn’t been used. The 6-gear transmission with the yellowish gear has all the hop-ups available back in the day: 48-pitch Thorp gears, sealed outdrive support bearings, and a Magic Motorsports spur gear with diff rings that pop in. The 6-gear tranny with the motor-plate is stock and hasn’t been rebuilt. I did open it up: the gears are fine and the transmission does have full ball bearings. It’s really dirty though. Boxes, manuals and parts lists are included for both the original RC10 and the Championship Edition. I’m also including a box for a Novak 410-M5 with the original instruction book but the the speed control itself is not enclosed. I just wanted to get rid of this. Comes with everything in the pics except for the large parts bin but the contents are included. I forgot to include the transmitter in the photo of everything but it is included. I’m slowly getting back into it. Feel free to contact me with any questions. Everything is boxed and ready to go, but I can take more pics if you want to see anything specific.
